Jordan, who has been skiing for eight years,
is hoping to qualify for the 2011 World Under 23 Championships and
finish the season in the top 10 U23 men in the country. A member
of last season’s Canada Games team for Ontario, his long term
goals are to senior national ski team, and compete for Canada in
the 2014 Winter Olympics and beyond.
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about
learning to dance in the rain,” is a quote that Jordan likes to
keep in his back pocket to remind of his goals. He also draws
inspiration from four time Olympian Angela Schmidt-Foster who
was one Jordan’s first ski coaches who is still a great friend
and mentor to him.
